Mikhail Doloko

Mikhail Doloko is a professional stage director and artistic director of Theater+. He also founded the Kurazh theater in Moscow and led it for more than 20 years.

A graduate of the Gnessin State Music College and the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute.

For more than twenty years, he has created theater projects for adults and children. His work as a writer and director ranges from classical comedy to musical and interactive shows. His productions have received recognition at theater festivals and international creative projects.

His work brings together drama, contemporary choreography, physical expression, pantomime and clowning, with particular attention to an emotional connection with the audience.

Mikhail Doloko

In a 2016 interview, Mikhail recalled staging his first interactive children’s production in 2006: children sat on cushions and took part in the action. Direct contact with the audience has been part of his approach for years.
